A three-storey house in Yangon behind a screen of white breeze blocks, with the facade finished and the interior recorded from ceiling framing to painted rooms.
01 / 03
The first photographs show the street front finished. A screen of white perforated breeze blocks covers the upper two floors. A strip of timber cladding runs beside it. At ground level a black folding steel gate closes the wide opening, behind a black steel front gate. Some views from the street still show gravel and site hoarding in front of the house.

Inside, the record shows the house still in progress. The stair has black steel balusters with a timber handrail. Doors are dark-stained timber, and corridors have recessed downlights. Floors are still bare screed. One bathroom is lined in green tile with the shower fitted. On the roof a steel frame carries a sheet canopy. The breeze-block screen lets daylight through from inside.

The later photographs go back to the earlier ceiling stage. A metal grid hangs below the concrete slab, with services run above it. Then plasterboard closes in the double-height space and the smaller rooms. Scaffolding stands against the stair. No photograph in the set shows a finished, furnished room. The last image is a 3D render of the house from above, as it was designed.
