An interior fit-out of an apartment in Yangon, photographed at handover with the rooms still empty. Wood-look laminate flooring runs through the living areas, corridor and bedrooms, against white walls and timber skirting. The living room is set apart by joinery painted a warm orange: a stepped run of floating shelves and a large built-in display frame with its own downlights.

The main room has a rectangular ceiling tray edged with concealed cove lighting and a central round fitting, and a vertical timber slat screen separates the entrance from the living space. One bedroom keeps an older decorative timber cornice at the ceiling, refreshed against new paint, and is served by a wall-mounted air conditioner behind a panelled entrance door.

The kitchen at the rear is finished differently from the living rooms: a patterned floor of orange and brown tiles, white tiled worktops and cabinet surrounds, a sink under the window, and a pair of yellow louvred doors to the service rooms. A strip of blue LED lighting marks the corridor ceiling on the way through.
