A finished three-storey white house in Yangon with cantilevered terraces, timber lattice screens and a double-height entry hall around a timber and glass staircase.
01 / 03
The house rises three storeys in white rendered volumes, each floor set back and cantilevered over the one below. Panels of timber lattice are recessed beside tall windows. The forecourt is laid in grass-block paving and leads to a pair of tall timber doors. Terraces on the upper floors are edged in frameless glass, with built-in planters, a timber deck and outdoor seating.

Inside, the entry hall rises the full height of the house under flush skylights. A stair with timber treads, a glass balustrade and a timber handrail climbs beside it, and paper pendants hang through the void. The open kitchen has a grey island under pendant lights. Bedrooms carry a green feature wall. A walk-in wardrobe is lined in black-framed glass cabinets around a lit oval mirror.

The next photographs were taken at handover, before the house was furnished. Rooms stand empty on timber floors, wardrobes are fitted, and mirrors and mattresses are still in their protective film. A freestanding bath sits on a slatted timber mat in one bathroom. The set closes with 3D renders of the street elevations and the house from above. These are the design the house was built from.
