The house stands two storeys high under a pitched tile roof with wide eaves lined in timber. A row of round arches on square piers forms the ground floor veranda, and the upper floor steps back to an open terrace behind a rendered parapet. Walls are rendered and painted white throughout, with a blind arched recess moulded into one side elevation.
02 / 03
The plot is enclosed by a low rendered wall carrying ornamental metal railings between piers capped with finials. Planting beds run along the inside face, and the forecourt is a broad paved concrete apron. Grass and potted shrubs fill the side garden, where a second entrance opens onto a concrete path under an arched porch.
03 / 03
Inside, floors are laid in hardwood parquet blocks, with plank flooring on one landing. Openings between rooms are arched, and internal doors are timber with raised and arched panels. Ceilings are flat and painted, lit by recessed downlights and surface mounted track. One room combines cane seated benches and chairs with an arched niche lined in timber slats. A cove lit recess elsewhere frames a bench against a backlit panel.
