A white house in Yangon still under construction, recorded from bamboo scaffolding and bare shell through fitted cabinets, rooftop solar panels and water services.

The house is still being built in every photograph here. The upper floors step back in white rendered bands, with black-framed windows and glass balustrades. Bamboo scaffolding hung with green netting still wraps one side. A site banner hangs on the front, and building materials are stacked in the forecourt. Earlier photographs show the whole house netted, behind a blue metal site fence.

The most finished rooms come next. One room is laid in timber parquet. Others are plastered and painted, but the floors are still bare screed. The black aluminium windows still carry their factory film. Timber-veneer cabinets are fitted in one room, with their doors still open. A balcony has a glass balustrade. Timber treads are laid on the stair, with scaffolding still standing in the stairwell.

The services are installed. Grey water tanks stand under a steel-framed roof, and rows of solar panels cover the roof. Water heaters are piped in blue on a bathroom wall. Earlier photographs show ceiling grids hung under bare concrete slabs, and workers plastering and painting from scaffolding. The set closes with 3D renders of the street front and the house from above.
