The Nagar Lady showroom in North Dagon is under construction. The latest photographs show its steel frame going up. A mobile crane lifts red-primed columns and beams into place beside the road. The frame rises several floors, with green safety netting along one side. Steel mesh is laid for the ground-floor slab inside the frame. Brick walls go up between concrete columns at the back of the plot.

Before the frame, the base was cast in an excavated pit beside a neighbouring orange-clad building. Workers lay two layers of steel mesh across the whole pit, with dense starter bars standing up for the columns. Timber formwork divides the mesh into bays. Concrete arrives by truck mixer and is pumped through a hose into the bays. One pour carries on after dark under site lights.

The earliest photographs show the groundwork. Trenches are dug across the plot and brick footings are laid in them. Short concrete columns stand with starter bars left for the structure above. Steel posts hold back the edge of the excavation. The renders show the design in two versions: a red ribbon across open floors of cars, and a dark grey block with red braced panels.
